Fake ARMS License dealer caught by Police while trying to flee country

Manish Bhardwaj alias Kala - a 35 year old man is from Gurgaon Village, near sector 5. He has been selling fake ARMS licenses since 4 years and making huge amount of money in it.


Each fake license was sold anywhere from 3 Lkahs to 10 lakhs rupees - which made Manish a crorepati within a short period of time. Initial estimation is that he has sold hundreds of licenses till now and has established a network of dealers under him to solicit clients for him.

Gurgaon Police caught him from Chandigarh Airport. He was planning to fly out of the country.

Gurgaon Police got hint of fake licenses because of eye for detail, inculcated by the new Commissioner of Police, Sandeep Khirwar. The department inquired into detail as to why the license numbers that are coming for renewal not matching the numbers in license database. And a huge nexus was unearthed.
