The 17th edition of CEOs Sing for GF Kids brought together eminent CEOs to celebrate more than 1000 kids that have been saved by Genesis Foundation.

In a commitment to raise resources through participatory fund raising events to provide life saving interventions for critically ill children, Genesis Foundation organised CEOs Sing for GF Kids on Saturday, August 6 in Gurgaon. The fund raising event was attended by many CEOs, among others Mr. Banmali Agrawala, President & CEO, GE South Asia, Mr. Siraj Chaudhary, Chairman, Cargill India, Mr. Aseem Soni, CEO, Modern Foods and many more. A number of dignities came from the medical field itself, namely Mr. Sunil Sachdeva, Co-Founder, Medanta Medicity, Dr. Ashok Rajgopal, Exec-Director & Chairman, Fortis Bones & Joint Institute, Dr. Harsh Mahajan, Founder & Chief Radiologist, Mahajan Imaging, Dr. Sonu Talwar, Clinical Director & Senior Consultant IVF Treatment, Milann, The Fertility Centre and Dr. Sudipto Pakrasi, Chairman, Ophthalmology, Medanta Medicity.

Some of the star CEOs that came into sight as marvellous singers include Mr. Atul Ahuja, Chief Operating Officer, HandyTrain. Besides his professional career, Mr. Ahuja has a band and he is lead vocalist of the popular CEO's band in Delhi - Applied For. In the same way that Mr. Ahuja and remaining participating CEOs manage to keep the love for music amid busy top management careers, so do they find time for an applaudable cause - saving lives of little ones whose families are in need.

Genesis Foundation, facilitating medical treatment of critically ill under-privileged children in the areas of heart, cancer and thalassemia, has in so far reached out to over 1000 kids and their families. Their support varies from specific medical intervention, recovery and recuperation to extended treatments like surgeries, chemotherapy and follow-up medicines post surgeries.
